Marc Warburton Chief Executive
Marc has over 25 years’ experience in the development and design of Clinical Information Systems within the healthcare environment. Having worked as a systems analyst in the field of cancer and as Information Manager in a NHS Trust, he realised the need for a flexible information system that could be easily developed across all specialties within a Trust; he developed InfoFlex as a result.
Marc’s qualifications include BA, MSc and MBA . His expertise lies in Clinical Information Management as well as in Software Development and he has a reputation for designing and implementing information systems that enable trusts to manage data effectively.
Sarah Waters New Business Director
Sarah has over 25 years’ experience of working with Clinical Information Systems within the UK healthcare environment. She has worked within the NHS including nursing at Guy’s and Harefield hospitals and holds a BSc (Hons), MSc and RGN. Sarah’s main skills are in the areas of Project and Clinical Information Management as well as the development of Clinical Systems which mirror the information flows within Trusts.
Sarah has a key role in the design of new systems using InfoFlex as well as supporting existing customers in their development of InfoFlex to meet new clinical challenges.
Dr John Nye Director of Research and Development
John has over 25 years’ experience of working in the technical software industry. His qualifications include a PhD in High Energy Physics and a BSc (Hons) in Physics. John joined CIMS at an early stage to ensure that InfoFlex provided a highly flexible information tool for the changing healthcare environment.
John oversees the Research and Development aspects of the company, including long-term strategy and the use of new technologies.
Phillip Brown Sales and Marketing Director
Phillip has over 25 years’ NHS and commercial experience in sales and marketing with companies including SMS, Keymed and COBE Labs. Phillip has an engineering background and holds diplomas in Business Management, Sales and Marketing as well as Mechanical Engineering. He has set up and run his own business delivering project management training to the aircraft, shipbuilding and oil industries.
Strategic planning, sales and marketing are among Phillip’s main roles within CIMS.
Dave Dickens Commercial Director
Dave has 30+ years’ finance experience in the IT industry, including 25+ years within the healthcare environment in the UK and Europe. Dave has held Finance and Administration Director positions with a number of major suppliers including BMDS, SMS, Torex Health and InHealth Solutions.
Dave has a wealth of experience of dealing with software and services contracts within the NHS market place, together with a commercial background covering areas such as HR and general business administration.
Les Hambly Business Development Director
After graduating from Cambridge University with a degree in Natural Sciences, Les worked in the NHS as a Biomedical Scientist for 12 years before switching into the commercial world as a software specialist in 1987. He has subsequently enjoyed success in both large and small healthcare IT companies and for the last 12 years has held senior sales and managerial roles in key NHS supplier organisations.
As Business Development Director Les has joined Chameleon to assist in expanding our already substantial customer base at a time which offers significant prospects for growth in healthcare IT.
Nigel Waters Account Management Director
Nigel joined the CIMS team at the beginning of 2011. Prior to his appointment with CIMS, Nigel had a 26 year career with IBM. Throughout this time he held a variety of management positions with IBM’s Services Division specialising in the provision of support services across an extensive range of products, service offerings and industries. He has a very strong customer and service orientation with extensive experience of delivering services, support and customer satisfaction.
Nigel has joined CIMS to lead the Account Management team and to help ensure that the expanding customer base continues to get the maximum benefit from the InfoFlex product.
