InfoFlex Modules
Scheduler
The Scheduler module is designed to manage resources over time. It provides a customisable diary view of patient activity such as Clinic Appointments, Therapy sessions and Operating sessions. It is used to schedule appointments and manage the resources required for these events to occur. The Scheduler module is most often used to run the scheduling of patient clinics although it is also used to manage the use of space (rooms, theatres), equipment, and track resources. The Scheduler module provides an alternative way of viewing and managing the patient care pathways to that provided by Data Views.
Module Features
- Scheduler Modes
- The Scheduler Module allows users to choose between Diary mode and grid Mode. Diary Mode is more suited to the appointment booking process - showing Sessions, Time Slots and patient data for a given day or days. Grid mode, which presents the user with a spreadsheet environment, is more suitable to managing a list of appointments as they occur, such as a days clinic appointments.
- Managing Diaries
- The Scheduler Module provides the user with all the functionality required to book, cancel and rebook appointments, to allocate the necessary resources and to monitor progress on appointments.
- Polling
- The polling mechanism is used to synchronise all Scheduler users and automatically refresh the diaries displayed as modifications occur. This provides users with a real-time view of all diary activity.
- Managing Resources
- The Scheduler module supports the management and allocation of resources. This includes human, physical, and geographical resources.
- Document Production
- Documents can be produced at all stages of the scheduling process. This includes Appointment Letters, activity reports, Clinic lists, Theatre lists and any other output required to support the Scheduling process.
