Design Import/Export
The Design Import/Export Module allows you to export and import designs from and to InfoFlex databases. This module has been designed for two main purposes:
- To enable the easy exchange of clinical system designs between InfoFlex users.
- To allow the testing of new designs or changes to existing designs in a testing environment. Once fully tested, these designs can be imported into the Live InfoFlex environment.
Module Features
- Exporting Designs
- The Design Import/Export module allows users to extract a complete Domain structure, including Dictionaries and their associated data. The extract produces an XML formatted file that can be easily exchanged between users.
- Importing Designs
- The Design Import/Export module allows users to select an InfoFlex design extract file and select the elements of the design that are to be imported into the target design. Users can select to import any individual element from the source design. This can be a whole Domain, individual Data Views, data items, queries, documents or events.
- Validating Designs
- As design elements are imported they are automatically validated to ensure that the integrity of the target design is not compromised in any way.
