Data Mapping
The Data Mapping tool is used to configure the data transformations used by the DataServer interface engine.
Module Features
- Transformation Type
- The Data Mapping module can be used to define the transformation of a text record to a list of values and vice versa, from one list of values to another, or from a set of values to InfoFlex data items and vice versa.
- Re-coding
- The Data Mapping module allows values to be re-coded from one list of codes to another.
- Extra Processing
- Additional transformation options can be defined, such as splitting a patient name into forename and surname, address parsing, re-formatting dates and such special values as NHS number.
- Filtering
- In order to filter out transactions not required, include and exclude criteria based on the message content can be defined.
